About The Plan
This plan represents a new way to prepare for The Traka. A complete, personalised training framework designed by Ulisses Nunes Abbud, shaping how athletes prepare over the months leading into the event and adapted across every distance and level through Vekta’s Adaptive Training System.
Athletes receive a structured, 13-week, race-specific preparation that evolves as they train. Each phase is built with clear intent, developing the qualities required for The Traka, while the plan adapts to individual fitness, availability, and progression to remain aligned throughout the build.
Alongside the training plan, athletes receive a race-day pacing plan, nutritional support across the preparation, access to the dedicated Traka 2026 community, expert webinars, and partner discounts reserved for athletes enrolled in the program.
Meet Your Coach
Ulisses Nunes Abbud has raced The Traka across multiple distances and brings first-hand experience of the event into every aspect of this plan. That experience informs how the training is structured, progressed, and adapted to the real demands of race day.
Alongside his own racing, Ulisses is a highly regarded cycling coach with deep expertise in endurance performance and physiology. He has guided athletes at The Traka to top-10 finishes and works with riders of all levels, applying proven training principles and race-specific insight to help athletes arrive at the start line ready to perform.
